Teen health educator Aly Yisrael will conduct a fun one-hour workshop dedicated to the burning question: Is my body good enough? Join us and learn to like living in your one and only human body! Teens (ages 11-19) are invited to participate in our monthly teensReach meeting. teensReach is the youth council for the San José Public Library. It provides a key way for young adults to build their leadership skills by developing and participating in library activities, as well as becoming library advisors and advocates. Free Income Tax Assistance (V.I.T.A.)
Free Income Tax Assistance is provided by V.I.T.A. every Saturday, beginning February 10 through April 7, 2007. The VITA program will offer free income tax assistance for low income, disabled, elderly, or limited English-speaking persons. No appointments are necessary. Customers will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign-up sheet will be available in front of Room 322 on the day of the program. If you have any questions, please call 1-800-829-1040.

Teens and their parents are invited to meet a representative from the San Jose Office of the Independent Police Auditor. Some of the topics for discussion will be curfew laws, how to respond to traffic stops, and your right to remain silent.
